La reunión de atletismo de Shanghai, que pone prácticamente broche final a la temporada, ha deparado las derrotas de tres campeones mundiales, el estadounidense Tyson Gay, el chino Liu Xiang y el etíope Kenenisa Bekele, si bien en el caso de este último fue en los 1.500 metros, distancia que no domina.
