MAX CAP in UEFA?

odata si odata tot trebuie introdusa max cap size in fotbal. Trebuie impusa o limita la cat ai voie sa cheltuiesti in alcatuirea echipei...sper cat mai curand...fotbalul a devenit foarte previzibil. Mi se pare anormal sa ai voie sa cumperi toti jucatorii buni de pe planeta(gen Real Madrid).

UEFA Chief Executive Lars-Christer Olsson has expressed doubts about salary caps, and has put forward UEFA's club licensing scheme as a means of regulating player salaries.

Grassroots investment vital
In an interview published in the latest edition of the official UEFA Champions League magazine Champions, Mr Olsson also said that a player representing his country is a way of putting something back into football, and that investment in the grassroots should continue to be a key objective within the game.

Salary cap issue
"I don't think they're a good idea," said Mr Olsson about proposals that would limit the amount of money a team can spend on player wages. "A salary cap would just punish certain players for being good negotiators and reward certain clubs for being bad negotiators."

Legal non-starter
Mr Olsson also expressed the view that salary caps could be a non-starter from a legal point of view. "I think they would be illegal under European law," he said. "A better approach might be to use UEFA's club licensing scheme to say clubs can only spend a percentage of their turnover on players’ salaries. If they want to pay big stars, they can pay other players less, or try to boost their revenue."

NBA are soft cap size de $49.5 mil. "soft" inseamna ca poate fi depasit in anumite conditii. Trebuie sa pui o limita la imbogatirea cluburilor...daca nu...cluburile bogate iau toti jucatorii buni si celelate...intelegi tu...si tot asa, neverending story :) chiar si 50 mil ar fi bine in fotbal, binenteles ca o echipa din Albania nu ar atinge nici o zecime din cap size, dar nu asta conteaza...
